The car featured here is a 2008 Orange 8C6 GT3 RS that was converted to race spec when new to compete in the 2009/2010 UAE GT Championship. This is one of only a few genuine 997 RS cars that have competed in period and it has been maintained regardless of cost. The car achieved success winning the 2009 UAE GT Championship with 5 wins from 7 races. The car finished competing in 2012 and since then the original RS seats have been reinstalled as well as the original fuel tank and the reinstallation of the original windows as well as a complete overhaul of the engine, transmission, suspension, brakes and differential. The car is now showing only 10,200 kilometers from new. The car has cup brakes and KW adjustable suspension as well as ful roll cage, plumbed in extinguisher and full driver and passenger race harnesses. This superb car would be suitable to return to competition or would make an ultimate track day car for someone who wanted to own and use a genuine 997 GT3 RS.
